We train our athletes as individuals. Through performance testing we can unravel WHO THEY ARE and HOW THEY'RE WIRED, allowing us to target strengths and weaknesses accordingly. Athletes that sign up for private coaching are allowed unlimited messaging communication along with their weekly video chat to discuss how things went, what we can improve on, and what's to come. Sound communication is THE single most important factor in the coach/athlete relationship.
Arguably the most important part of our online coaching philosophy is the time we spend to preparing the athlete's mental strategies for training, racing and everyday life. As we "talk shop" the curriculum rotates around a few core themes including goal character, motivation, real world, work ethic, and resiliency.
Athletes that join our team also gain private access to our bi-weekly podcast with professional coaches, athletes, and therapists followed by a Q&A sessions to dive into potential learning opportunities.
Our athlete classification system is the result of over 10 years of research and development which was made possible through extensive athlete testing (over 300 athletes collegiate and pro athletes).
We can use this minimally invasive method to determine how an athlete is responding to a certain stimulus (aerobically or anaerobically). We can also do team tracking. With 10 years of elite data compiled we can show you where your team sits in relation the goals you have set.
Our athlete reports track stride rate, length, mechanics, positions, flight angles, and ground contact time. We are looking for areas of opportunity, injury prevention, and areas of immediate intervention along with shoe recommendations.
We can present team data in a way that brings entire performance teams up to speed. Therapists, trainers, strength coaches, and of course the lead coach can all be informed.
Our athlete classification system will unravel what makes an athlete "tick". We can determine their strengths, weaknesses, and where the performance gaps are in their current athletic profile. What event are you best suited for? What event would you like to run? What event has your training prepared you best for? These are the types of questions that we can answer through the athlete testing.
The participating team & coaching staff will have access to Coach Ondrasek as he takes them through a weekly "student of the sport" curriculum via Zoom.
The curriculum targets motivation, education, character, team building, psychology, and athlete resiliency. This also gives the teams coaches the opportunity to run their weekly workout plans by him, or have him write them all together.
